Making Safeguarding Personal 2014-17

If you are developing safeguarding practices in your area, consider taking part in phase two of Making Safeguarding Personal (MSP) programme, led by Local Government Association (LGA) and Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS).

Results were encouraging from last year's phase one and now funding has been secured from the Department of Health to support the implementation of the Care Bill and its associated statutory guidance and to improve safeguarding practice.

Therefore work needs to continue to support local councils and their partners in this fast developing field.

There are different levels of participation in the Making Safeguarding Personal Programme both for those of you who took part in phase one and those that want to be involved for the first time, please contact Cathie Williams by the 30^th May or 30^th June.
