Commissioning for better outcomes in adult social care

Commissioning is becoming the main way in which local authorities and their partners are redesigning services in adult social care. The model is flexible enough to allow different organisations to pool their resources and improve the social care needs of their citizens.

A series of events will take place over the summer offering attendees the chance to shape standards which will support commissioning practice in adult social care.

The events, supported by TLAP, Local Government Association (LGA), the University of Birmingham and others, will present different themes consonant with effective and efficient commissioning including co-production and personalisation, and market development.
