Webinar on personal health budgets and mental health

Published: 30 Apr, 2014

A webinar will introduce NHS England’s personal health budgets programme, which is taking place across seven pilot sites, and will also share information learnt on ways to effectively implement personal health budgets in mental health services.

From April 2015 people with a mental health need will be given the option of a personal health budget. It is hoped that NHS England’s personal health budget pilot programme will help inform the roll out.

The programme is part of NHS England Going Further Faster Programme for clinical commissioning groups (CCGs).

Vidhya Alakeson from Northamptonshire and Mental Health Lead for the Personal Health Budgets Delivery Programme for NHS England will be presenting alongside Alex MyCawka, a personal health budget recipient.

The webinar will take place on Wednesday 7th May from 10am to 11am.
