Statement from Lynda Tarpey, Director of TLAP to the news of ADASS President Harold Bodmer’s death

Published: 21 Jul, 2016

IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Harold Bodmer had been the co-chair of the TLAP board with Kathy Roberts, chief executive of the Mental Health Providers Forum. On behalf of the TLAP board, director Lynda Tarpey has issued the following statement.

“Harold Bodmer’s  untimely death comes as a terrible shock to all of us who knew and worked with him. He was a caring, gentle person and in the brief time that he chaired the Think Local Act Personal Board he impressed us all with his genuine humanity and concern that the needs of people in receipt of care and support should be foremost in our thinking. He will be greatly missed by the social care sector and our thoughts are with his family at this sad time”.
