Prioritising person-centred care- the evidence

Published: 17 Jun, 2014

National Voices have launched new webpages with a digest of the best international evidence on ways to enhance person centred care.

The information will help commissioners, health professionals and people who use services see what works best and how to invest time and resources.

The evidence has been gathered from the results of 779 systematic research reviews worldwide. It covers the topics of:

  • self-management
  • shared decisions
  • prevention
  • information support
  • improving patient experience.

For each topic there is a downloadable ‘simple guide.

As person-centred care gains momentum the resource will be an important contributory reference.
