Paying for long term care in England

Published: 3 Mar, 2017

This information has been developed by a group of public organisations and charities to help people make better and more informed decisions about paying for care. It encourages people to get impartial and independent advice about how to use their money.

TLAP wants to encourage partners, councils, providers, voluntary groups and user-led organisations to make this leaflet available to members of the public, either electronically on websites or in places where people access public information.

It has been updated from and replaces previous information supplied through the previous Putting People First programme.

With thanks to Age UK, Counsel & Care, Money Advice Service and Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) for their support in updating the document.
