Making progress with Making it Real

Published: 16 May, 2012

TLAP have now begun enrolling organisations who have expressed an interest in Making it real, on our new Making it real topic area. This involves you creating an account online that stores your email address and contact details.

It means that by the time the declaration process is launched in the Spring, you will be ready to go straight away. All you will need to do then is to identify the top three actions your organisation wants to publicly commit to as a result of using Making it Real in your organisation’s work programmes. Also we’ll be encouraging you to publish those plans on your own website.

Those organisations who complete the declaration process will be offered use of the TLAP Logo, to display on websites and to use in their work. This will recognise the fact that they are working towards implementing the Markers of Progress as part of their everyday working practice.

Between now and Spring 2012 , we’re continuing to test our new web pages and declaration process with a small number of Making it Real Test Sites to find a way of making this work in an easy and simple way for all.

In the meantime, we ask that you log on to enrol your details and continue to use Making it Real by building the markers into your work plans and reviews; and by considering your current practice against the markers and identifying areas for change.
