Difficult conversations on care, technology and choice: a new webinar series

Published: 19 Feb, 2026

Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) and the National Co-production Advisory Group (NCAG) are pleased to be supporting the Digital Care Hub on a new three-part webinar series exploring some of the most challenging and under-discussed questions about technology in care.

From sensors in people’s homes to AI and robotics in care settings, technology is reshaping how care is delivered. It has the potential to improve choice and control – but it can also raise difficult questions about privacy, consent and the future of human care.

This series will create space for honest, open discussion, bringing together diverse viewpoints to explore tensions, uncertainties and real-life experiences. The goal is to not to solve a problem or to build a consensus, but to foster open debate and conversation.

Grounded in lived experience

Members of the National Co-production Advisory Group (NCAG) will be part of each session, sharing lived experience perspectives alongside diverse panels including tech company representatives, policymakers, people working in social care, and others.

Who should attend?

Care providers, local authorities, commissioners, care workers, technologists, families, advocates and policymakers – anyone interested in how technology is shaping care and support.
