    Ian McCreath

    Director

My personal and professional experiences have created in me a deep sense that collaboration provides the only approach to meeting today’s challenges across communities, health, and social care. I began my career as a support worker before roles in community development, digital journalism, operations management as well as senior policy and campaigning roles. Personalisation and coproduction have been my primary focus since 2012. Outside work I enjoy relaxing with family, live music, nature and time with our dog.

    Dr Clenton Farquharson CBE

    Associate Director

A devoted advocate for inclusion and equality in health and social care, my work with TLAP, SCIE, the NHS Assembly, and the NHS Quality Board reflects my commitment to systemic transformation. Drawing from personal experiences, I speak out against discrimination, aiming to break down barriers, amplify marginalised voices, and create an equitable society. When i’m not not advocating for change, I enjoy travelling the globe on cruises with my family. And as a season ticket holder for Birmingham City FC I can often be found pitch side cheering on the Blues.

Head of Practice Improvement (Self-Directed Support)

Before joining TLAP I worked at Doncaster Council for many years, implementing changes driven by the ‘putting people first’ agenda. At TLAP I contribute my experience of change work at a local level, particularly around self-directed support. I’m passionate about encouraging councils and organisations to adopt Making It Real to improve lifes. Caring for my mum brings all this work to life as we share our lived experience to help co-produce improvements in Doncaster.
