Work starts on the Integrated Care and Support Pioneers programme

Added on

The Integrated Care and Support Pioneers sites and partners took part in a workshop in London on 3 December. The 14 pioneer sites and programme partners , including TLAP, got together for the first time to get the collaboration underway.

Focusing on people's experiences of care and support was a recurring theme at the event. TLAP is working with colleagues from the Personal Health Budgets Delivery Team at NHS England to ensure integration can happen at the individual level. We have offered pioneer sites assistance in implementing joint health and social care personal budgets by providing access to:

  • Information materials and resources, including dedicated private online learning community
  • Extensive community of people and organisations already working on this agenda that are willing to share what has been learned so far, including project managers, organisational leaders and people with joint budgets or carers of people with budgets
  • Training, support and contacts across the country, including at networking and residential training events
  • Checking alignment with narrative for integrated care and activities related to personal budgets
