The Skills for Care Annual Conference

Added on

This year's Skills for Care conference will look at workforce values for delivering support to people accessing community services. It is recognised that if employers don't ensure their staff have the right behaviours and values, the quality of services will suffer.

The event will give delegates the opportunity to:

  • Hear about the social care sector's strategic direction from key speakers such as Minister for Care and Support Norman Lamb
  • Share best practice with others from across the sector
  • Find out how Skills for Care's products and area teams can help your organisation
  • Attend workshops on topics focussing on recruiting and retaining staff and implementing the care bill.
  • Visit exhibitor stands.

There will also be an employer led panel session chaired by Society Guardian Editor David Brindle. Clenton Farquarson, TLAP's Co-Chair will be amongst the panellists along with Sharon Allen, CEO of Skills for Care; Andrea Sutcliffe, Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care and other high profile speakers.
