Skills for Care workshops to launch new learning and development guide

Skills for Care will be holding a number of half day workshops across England to introduce a new on-line learning and development guide which is a framework for learning and development for individual employers and their personal assistants. The workshops will be held with the National Coproduction Advisory Group of Think Local Act Personal.

The workshop is aimed at individual employers, personal assistants and organisations that support individual employers and personal assistants, as well as care providers, local authorities and training organisations.

These free workshops will provide opportunities for participants to learn about how to access the guide and to work with others, using case studies, to learn how the guide can be used to support learning and development.

The workshops are listed below:

2 July - BVSC, Birmingham

4 July - Holiday Inn Regents Park, London

11 July - Manchester Disabled Living

12 July - The Vassal Centre, Bristol

16 July - York Racecourse

18 July - Trinity Centre Cambridge

The event will take place 12.45pm-4pm and lunch will be provided.
