John Evans OBE joins the Hall of Fame

TLAP are delighted to announce that the European Network for Independent Living (ENIL) have inducted John Evans OBE into their Hall of Fame. John Evans is a member of TLAP's National Co-production Advisory Group, he was honoured because of his role in disability Rights in the UK. John was one of the first people to set up an Independent Living scheme in the UK with funding to organise his own Personal Assistance.

ENIL say: "We are honored to induct John Evans, OBE into the Hall of Fame. John Evans is a member of the ENIL Advisory Panel and was one of the first people to set up an Independent Living scheme in the United Kingdom with funding to organise his own Personal Assistance.

John tells us of the importance of Independent Living in his own life and why in these times of austerity it is even more important to advocate for Independent Living for all people across Europe."
