I Care...Ambassadors Week

I Care ...Ambassadors Week proved a big success, according to partner organisation Skills for Care. Care workers acted as ambassadors for the social care sector by visiting schools, colleges and job fairs (between 14-18 February) where they shared their experiences about the day to day work and challenged stereotypes.

The week opened with an event for careers and employment advisors which explained how I Care...Ambassadors can help to them to promote careers in adult social care. The highlight of the event was the panel session which summarised the different routes into the profession.
