Community Catalysts launches Small Good Stuff

Added on

Partner organisation Community Catalysts CIC has launched a new service and website called Small Good Stuff www.smallgoodstuff.co.uk. Small Good Stuff aims to support community initiatives and enterprises to meet the social care needs of the local community and to help people who need care or support to link with available local community enterprises.

Community Catalysts (opens new window) is a Community Interest Company that works through local partners to help enterprising people and community organisations to offer care and support to local people. The care and support they offer is always on a very small (micro) scale, personal and often delivered in creative ways.

Over the last few years CIC have worked directly in lots of communities including Nottinghamshire, Wigan, Hertfordshire, Worcestershire, Ayrshire, Southwark and Peterborough.

Small Good Stuff does two things. Firstly it links:

· People or organisations who offer support or care to people in their local community on a very small scale

· People who need care or support to live their life

It does this by providing an accessible web directory that is totally free of charge and gives the little guys a chance to show people the splendid things they can offer.

Secondly Small Good Stuff offers people or organisations who offer support or care to people in their local community on a very small scale:

· Information

· Advice

· Documents and resources

· A link to folks doing similar things

· A chance to publicise what they do

So Small Good Stuff is the place that small community organisations can go to get the help they need, see Resources for Support Providers for more information.
