Call for examples of good practice in home care for older people

Our partner organisation and host SCIE is producing a Department of Health funded accredited digital guide on home care for older people with complex needs. The project, guided by an Advisory Group of people who use services, carers, providers and commissioners, will draw on published research evidence as well as practice examples.

They want to highlight dignified, personalised home care which empowers older people with complex needs to live fulfilling lives; those who are are frail, have a chronic health condition or mental health issues and/or live in difficult social circumstances.

If you know of an exemplary service, please complete a short questionnaire, Good Practice in Home Care for Older People for possible inclusion in the guide and send it back to pamela.holmes@scie.org.uk. The guide will be published in early summer 2014.
